2023 is an important year for IFCO, signalling 100 years since the establishment of the Office. While censorship is part of our history, in more recent times the work of the Office has evolved to classification. IFCO now focuses on providing advice and guidance for audiences in relation to cinema and home entertainment content sold in Ireland.

To mark the centenary, IFCO is launching a new cinema sting which celebrates 100 years of Ireland’s contribution to cinema.
